I packed up my entire closet, here are the 7 essentials I was missing
Your summer wardrobe will thank you 😘
If you follow me on social, then you know I spent the last week packing up, basically, my entire house before heading back East for the Summer.
During this process, I learned quite a few things - first my kids will be packing themselves next year (or else they’ll be going to The Hamptons without any clothes 😉), second, I was actually able to get a better idea of what I already have in my closet, and what I’m missing for Summer.
After packing, I pretty much immediately crushed some online shopping to complete my Summer wardrobe.
Lets start with jewelry…now I have to say, I have gotten to the point where I have built out a pretty great jewelry collection. However, I realized I was missing some fun statement pieces for Summer. I own a lot of great gold pieces at this point, but I don’t have much color. I recently got a green tennis necklace from Dorsey and have been wearing it nonstop, so when I saw they had a light pink one, I immediately knew I needed it for Summer. I love that you can pair it with your gold chains, or with other white tennis necklaces and it just makes your stack feel a little more seasonal and fun!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love linen sets for Summer. I basically live in them because they’re so easy to throw on over a suit, out for a casual dinner dinner or drinks, or just around the house, while also still making you look put together and chic. With that being said, I truly don’t know if I will ever feel like I have enough linen sets, so when I was packing up my closet, I felt like I needed to add a few more into my rotation.
I just got this brown and pink striped short set from Mille, and I already love it. The shorts are a great length because they’re long enough where you feel covered, but not too long where they’re unflattering. I also just love the pink and brown color combo. Since I have an obsession with linen sets, I linked all my current favorites HERE!
