Cabo Outfit Diary: What I Bought + Wore During My Influencer Trip
Because Packing Light Was Never the Plan
You guys, when I tell you it’s been the most INSANE week, I mean it. We finally moved back into our home in the Palisades and it’s truly been so bittersweet. It feels the same, but it’s also so wild to think of everything we’ve been through. We’re still being cautious, but it feels so good to be home, and even better knowing the kids are back in their space again.
ICYMI on Instagram I was in Cabo this past weekend celebrating YSE Beauty’s two year anniversary. I seriously can’t believe it’s already been that long… it somehow feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at once. We pulled off the most amazing influencer trip, filled with the best people, the best plans, and, of course, the best products. Oh yeah, and we launched our NEW Like a Gloss Hydrating Lip Tints that come in 4 insane shades. It was such a special weekend, and I’m beyond grateful for my incredible team who helped bring it all to life.
Outside of everything that went into making the trip as amazing as it was, I definitely had some fun with the outfit prep. Because at least for me, sometimes planning my vacay looks is half the fun.
Of course, I used this trip as an excuse to shop—and let’s just say, I went in on the outfits because, truly, I can never not overpack. 😉
What I Bought + Packed…
Starting off with shoes and accessories which is by far my fav category. Even if you’re wearing a simple look, this is where you can have fun and really add to it.
I’m so in love with this Toteme woven tote. I mean… how good is it? I love that it’s black so it works with everything, but the woven leather detail gives it such an elevated texture that feels perfect for Spring and Summer. The belted strap is such a nice touch that makes it feel more unique, too .
As for sunglasses… did I need another pair? Absolutely not. Did I buy another pair anyway? Yes. These Loewe sunnies are different enough from my other pairs to justify.
I don’t have many brown pairs, so this tortoiseshell color caught my eye. The shape is super chic and unique as well. They’re bold without being too much and you will see I wore these ALL weekend.
Next up: the shoes. I got a few new pairs of sandals, some with Cabo in mind, others just because I was scrolling through the shoe section on MyTheresa, and got a little carried away.
The first pair are these Toteme kitten heels that look like flip flops but in the most elevated way. I love the color, and the suede is a plus. Then there’s this other Toteme sandal. They’re black, so they match everything, but the design is so unique. I usually don’t love a toe strap detail, but this pair is the exception for sure. Finally, this pair from The Row — I’m obsessed.. The sole of the shoe is totally unexpected, but I’m kind of really into it. Not something I’d wear poolside, especially because of the shearling sole, but perfect for a chic dinner outfit.
Moving on to clothes… the only new pieces I really wanted to shop for were dresses. I found a few maxi ones I was excited about—like this pink Juliet Dunn number that’s just so vacay in Cabo. The color, the vibe, the fit of it is giving easy, chic, throw-on-and-go, and I love that.
And then I grabbed this white Victoria Beckham dress. It also comes in black, but I had a vision of it in white with a tan and a bold lip and just had to have it. The low back is everything, the cinching around the tummy area is super flattering, and the satin fabric makes it feel so luxe.
Next up is swim. You guys know this by now but somehow, every year I feel like I need a new swim collection.
I’m obsessed with this Johanna Ortiz swimsuit. I think navy blue and white go SO well together and just looks so classy. I also love the cutout on this and the halter neck tie. Of course, I got another Hunza G. You guys already know that Hunza G is one of my ride or dies when it comes to swim. The crinkle fabric is a dream, it stretches to fit you just right, and I love that this suit has braided straps.
I also picked up yet another suit from Johanna Ortiz in this burnt orange color. Again, love the cutouts and the gold hardware on this. My only thing is that it’s not exactly tanning friendly (unless you want some very interesting tan lines). Last I grabbed this Toteme one-piece. Simple, chic and SO flattering.
Now of course, I had to get a few new cover ups for the trip as well.
First up, this white embroidered Juliet Dunn dress. I thought it was going to be a full on cover up, but it’s actually not as see through as I expected. Totally works as a real dress too which is ideal for days when you're hopping from pool to plans and don’t want to change. Then there’s this Simkhai sarong. I got the red because I wanted a fun pop of color, but it also comes in black which is definitely more versatile. I LOVE the fringe detailing. I also ordered this crochet two-piece from Anna Kosturova and I’m OBSESSED. The crochet is so good. Looks so cute as a set but love that you can mix and match. I’m a big fan of Melissa Odabash pieces and this red cover-up checks every box. The scalloped edges, the tassels, the deep-V… love it.

What I Actually Wore…
Touched down in Cabo!
For the flight, I wore these light wash full jeans from Toteme with my favorite Celine belt — if I’m traveling in jeans, it has to be a wide leg pair. I styled them with a classic white Khaite tee , and a lightweight white blazer from Vanessa Bruno. It’s unfortunately not available online but I did find the same exact jacket in black and this gorg vanilla color.
For shoes, I went with my black Hermès Oran sandals, they’re just so easy, and match everything. If you’re looking for something with a similar vibe but not trying too hard to be a dupe, then this pair from Quince is great. For accessories I kept it simeple with my new Toteme tote and Celine sunnies.
After we checked in I had a quick outfit change for dinner. I wore this gorgeous Adriana Degreas strapless dress in black. I actually found it in white too, which I love. For shoes, I wore my Alaïa suede heels that are sold out in a lot of sizes so if they’re still available in yours, get them while you can.
For jewelry I kept it simple with my Kendra Scott hoops in silver, Adina Reyter pear diamond huggies, gold cuff from Anita Ko, and a diamond cuff from Adina Reyter. You guys know I love a good ear stack.
