Like everyone else, I am absolutely obsessed with Khaite, and the quiet luxury trend, but I’m not obsessed with the prices. I can justify the investment on an amazing pair of shoes, the perfect fitting pair of jeans, or a jacket that I know I’ll have forever, but there are some things that are really just not worth it.
To spare you the trip to the mall (and the jump scare from the price tags), I went to Neimans to try on literally every Khaite piece currently available, to let you know which pieces I personally think are worth the investment. I even included how I’d style them.
Grab your credit cards because this is going to be a good one 😉!
1. The Jinn Top in Archer

This denim shirt is absolutely STUNNING. I mean the fit is perfect, it’s a little oversized, but it still has structure so you’re not swimming in it, and the quality is there ladies. This is a piece you’ll buy and wear for the next decade, at least. You can easily dress this up or down, and take it from day to night. I’d pair it with my Anine Bing leather pants, a fun shoe — I LOVE these red Proenza Schouler kitten heels, and some chunky gold jewelry like my Jenny Bird chunky earrings, and a statement ring.
Some honorable dupes for The Jinn Top include: this almost identical option from Alex Mill, this oversized dark washed shirt from Cos, this insanely soft denim shirt from Banana Republic, another almost identical option from Anthropologie, this Nili Lotan top is slightly pricier, but still less than the Khaite top, I love this chambray top from TWP Clothing, and the always reliable J. Crew version.
