If I Lost These, I’d Run, Not Walk, to Buy Them Again
The Closet Staples I’d Repurchase Without Hesitation
Ahh, you guys! Summer is officially here, and in just a few days, the Stuber clan is off to the Hamptons. I’m literally writing this in the middle of packing chaos—which, honestly, is what inspired this post.
After spending the last three days trying to narrow down what’s actually worth the suitcase space, I found myself reaching for my tried-and-true favorites.
So here you have it: these are the pieces I wear on repeat. If I ever lost them (and trust me, I’ve lost a few before), I’d repurchase them immediately.
This week on Lipstick on the Rim, we’re talking all things summer must-haves… and spoiler these Celine sunnies are top on the list for both
and I. You guys already know I have a bit of a sunglass obsession (my collection is constantly growing), but these Celine frames are truly unmatched. They’re actually a men’s frame but they just fit so well. They’re a little oversized, classy, timeless, chic, and they go with just about everything + flatter truly every face shape.I mean you guys already know how much I love Jenni Kayne sweaters. Literally I have yet to find a miss when it comes to their knitwear. My all time favorite is the Cooper Cardigan and if I ever lost it, you know it would be an immediate repurchase.
Good thing I own it in multiple colors lol. It’s thick enough to hold it’s shape, but not too thick, and the sleeves have a very slight bell shape that is just so chic. I wear it open as a cardigan and buttoned up as a top and love it both ways.
When I was packing another item i realized I’m truly always reaching for, and packing for trips is this white pleated midi skirt. This skirt is truly one of my most worn pieces. And yes, I have it in multiple colors because when I like something, rebuying it over and over again is just something I do lol. It’s one of those pieces that’s so versatile, you can throw it on for pretty much any Occassion. I’ve worn it to the office with sneakers, and then turned around and styled it with a blazer and heels. You really can’t go wrong with this skirt and I love that there are so many colors to choose from.
Finding jeans that fit just right is already hard, but finding white jeans that fit just right feels impossible. It’s a struggle that doesn’t get talked about enough. By far, the best white jeans I’ve ever found are the Pistola Penny jeans.
They’re high rise, wide leg, slightly cropped, have a raw hem, and are SO comfy. I’ve worn them year after year and haven’t even looked for a new pair since, because I know these have me covered. If I lost them, my entire white bottoms section would be struggling. SUCH a staple for me.
