Whew, what a few weeks it’s been! Thanksgiving is almost here, Christmas is right around the corner, and this is truly my favorite time of year. I also just got back from Canada to see the Eras tour with Emese and our daughters, and you guys, it was truly life-changing.
Between juggling work, holiday prep, and mommin’ it’s been nonstop. (I am, in fact, writing this on the plane to Cabo…) I’ve found some reprieve in online shopping, and let’s just say I’ve found some good picks.
So, after a week of gift guides, let’s consider this the gifts I’ve already gotten (or am planning to get) for myself…😉
I had myself a little shopping trip to Isabel Marant, and if the big bag in my hand didn’t give it away, let me just confirm—I made a few purchases 😉
The moment I saw the Florana shearling vest from Isabel Marant, I was sold. The ecru color is such a gorgeous neutral—it’s refined but still feels fresh. And the shearling detail is everything- it’s cozy yet elevated without being too in your face, which is hard to achieve with fur and shearling pieces sometimes.
Umm hello 😍 I love this Dabia top by Isabel Marant for a chic, yet simple nighttime look, especially when I want something with a little sparkle but still elevated and refined. Honestly, this is going to be my go-to for those moments when I need to make a statement without trying too hard. I’d style it with slim black trousers or a sleek leather mini with tights and heeled high boots. It’s also ideal for New Year’s Eve or any festive celebration—it feels celebratory without being overdone. This is a top that feels fashion-forward but is still timeless.
I feel like there is nothing better than a good coat from Isabel Marant and this printed shearling coat is SO good. It’s a piece I’ll probably wear more casually with jeans and a tee. The print is truly so cute for the winter season and it’s so warm and practical.
An instant “add to cart,” these mesh slippers required little convincing. While mesh shoes have been everywhere lately, I love that these stand apart from the usual ballet flats (no shade). Instead, they lean into more of a slipper look that feels different and fun. They’re incredibly comfortable, the mesh is light and breathable, and they bring an effortless chicness that elevates even the most casual look. I packed these with me to Cabo, and I know I will get a TON of wear out of them this trip. They’re just so easy to throw on.
I mean I really don’t need to say it again but stripes are the moment and will always be… I know I own a ridiculous amount of stripes, but to be fair though, the stripes on this Pistola sweater are different- they’re kind of pointy, which is such a cool detail. I also love that it’s a mock neck, and the matching cuffs and hem elevate it from your typical full stripped moment.
How stunning are these earrings? And the price— unbelievable. For those of you who don’t know, vermeil is a combination of metals that gives you the look of solid gold without the ridiculous price tag. So from least to highest quality of gold, it goes gold plated, gold filled, vermeil, and then solid gold.
Nobody can try to tell me these aren’t the most perfect earrings for Christmas. I got them specifically for that purpose. The bow is just so fitting— like the perfect Christmas gift wrapped up with a bow on top. It doesn’t matter what my outfit is because these are my holiday season MVPs.
I’m seriously struggling to make space in my sweater drawer but I couldn’t pass up on this Laurel Sweater from Paige. It comes in a black version too as well as striped, but I opted for the white because I realized I don’t have many light colored sweaters. It’s cashmere, so obviously super soft and warm. I love the subtle bell sleeve and that it’s a turtleneck. It’s just a classic, simple sweater I will wear on repeat this Fall.
This is such a great going out top. Black and white are colors that basically go with everything and the lace trim is such a flattering detail. I see myself wearing it with a blazer thrown over and jeans or as the top in an outfit with a midi silky skirt as the bottom.
This is such an easy yes. You already wear a bra and underwear so why not make it a cute set? I get it- a lot of the time, the sexy sets that look nice and make you feel your best aren’t that comfortable. With this set from Eby, I promise you- you DON’T need to give up style for comfort. The mesh makes it breathable and the velvet trim not only looks nice, but it keeps everything in place without the constant adjustments. This set feels as good as it looks- and the same will apply to YOU.
Hatch Restore 2 Alarm Clock
I just ordered this new Hatch alarm and I can’t wait to receive it. I have the older version, and have loved it, so when I saw this new one, I knew I needed it. (P.S. It also makes a great gift)!
And in case you are wondering why you need a hatch, here’s why: by time I finally crawl into bed at the end of a long day, I’m craving a moment of calm—a chance to unwind and actually feel like I’m transitioning out of the chaos. This device is all about creating a peaceful environment. Not only does it plays sleep sounds it also gives off soothing light. And instead of a jarring alarm, it eases you into the morning by using soft light that mimics a sunrise and a gentle sounds. Plus it looks chic as heck on your nightstand.
