7 Looks for Every Occasion

Is it just me, or did we blink and suddenly poof—the holidays are here? One minute it’s pumpkin spice everything and the next, all the Christmas decor is out and it’s kind of the only music we listen to. And while I’ve already made a few party rounds, my next two weeks are holiday parties followed by New Years Even meaning more outfits to put together.

If you know me, you know this is where I thrive. I absolutely love styling different looks. So I figured I’d do the Lord’s work here, and put together looks I’m loving for the holiday season, so you can focus on the important things (like that second glass of champagne)… 🍾😉

Here’s 7 looks that will get you through any holiday party or even this season.

Look 1

OUTFIT DETAILS

This first look is all about taking simple, classic pieces you probably already have in your closet, and elevating. It’s cute, put together, and practical which I love.

For the top, I’m going with a sleek long sleeve turtleneck bodysuit—it’s so easy, and it pairs perfectly with literally every pant or skirt. For bottoms, I love adding a fun texture like velvet, because the holidays are truly the perfect time to pull out your velvet pieces. I’m torn between these ALC green velvet pants and these Veronica Beard wine velvet pants. Both feel so festive and perfect for the holidays. For shoes, I’d either opt for some high heeled tall boots (but keep them tucked under the pants).

Or a chic pair of heels like these Alaïa Clear Patent Heart-Toe Slingback Pumps. I love the color AND the heart detail. Speaking of Alaïa and hearts, you all know I LOVE my Alaïa Le Cœur bag.

And for jewelry, I’d go with STACKED ears— White Sapphire Chain Huggie , the Adina Reyter Pavé Ear Cuff I just got, maybe some diamond studs, and chunky hoops.

Continuing on the velvet train, I absolutely LOVE this embroidered velvet slip dress from La Ligne. It feels festive, but is something you can wear again and again during the colder months.

In general a good black midi dress is a must for the winter. If you’re more of a long sleeve dress gal, then you NEED the Ferrera Midi Dress from Simkhai. I just got in the mail and you guys, it is STUNNING. For shoes, I love a sleek, black heel like these pointed toe Manolo Blahnik kitten heesls. For the bag, I’d definitely do a statement piece to spice up the all black look with this Alaïa embellished leather bucket bag.

A standard black wool coat is something EVERYONE should have in their wardrobe. This Mango wool coat is one of those pieces that just works—it’s structured enough to look amazing draped over your shoulders but still polished if you actually wear it. To accessorize, I’d stay on theme with the dress’s beaded embroidery by adding these Jennifer Behr earrings, which are like dangling stars, and a Diamond and White Topaz Ring Set.
