Last week, we talked about what I’m buying, styling, & swearing by this spring, but you might’ve noticed I didn’t mention any dresses. And no, that wasn’t a mistake… I was saving them for their own post because, honestly, good Spring dresses deserve their own post.

Dresses are such a huge part of my wardrobe this time of year because they’re flattering, feminine, effortless, and just SO easy to throw on. They’re the kind of pieces you can wear a million different ways.

Annnddd, since it’s officially Spring Break I can confirm I’m writing this poolside in Cabo — where I’ve basically been living in bikinis and dresses. Don’t worry, I’ll be doing a full post at the end of my trip with all my outfits 😉!

So, I pulled some old faves, mixed in a few new purchases, a few others I simply just love, and put together the top 10 dresses you need this Spring. Trust me, these are the ones you’ll reach for on repeat.

Everyday LBD Upgrade

JULIET DUNN MINI DRESS

Let’s be real—if you don’t know what to wear, a go-to black mini dress is always the answer. Every woman should have a few in her wardrobe, and when I came across this Juliet Dunn embroidered cotton poplin mini, I knew I had to have it. I love how it’s so simple but still has some personality with its scalloped edges and delicate embroidery — bonus points for the pockets. I’m also obsessed with the open back. Plus, it comes in a few different colors like white (also a closet staple), this dark navy blue (a great alternative to black), and this gorgeous tomato red or this punchy pink if you want a pop of color.

Other black mini dresses I love are this one from Solid & Striped, this linen one with a belted back (great for giving some shape), and this SUPER chic puff sleeve mini from Simkhai because one is never enough.

LANTHROPY ALCALA LINEN DRESS

Since we started with a black mini, it’s only right that we now talk about the exact opposite. I love a flowy, breathable dress — especially one with a chic, bright pattern. Last year, before heading to the Hamptons for the summer, I got this Alcala Linen Dress and let me tell you, I was SO obsessed. The bright watercolor-inspired print made me feel so fun and summery, and it really popped against my tan SO nicely. This year, as I’m doing a little closet refresh, I’ve been shopping Farm Rio because they truly make the cutest patterned dresses — like this white and green midi dress and off white coconut tree dress. I love that all their dresses can totally be dressed up or down, and are just fun and airy but still elevated.

Denim, But Make It Chic

SEZANE DRESS

A good denim dress is so underrated, but trust me—you need one. I wore this Sezane denim mini nonstop last year (sadly, it’s sold out now), so I did the next best thing and found similar styles like this belted one from ME+EM, this darker denimone from Reformation, and this gorg best seller from Madewell which is also an insanely good price.

Denim is really having a moment this Spring and I’m so here for it. Between my denim ballet flats, my new denim Zara top, and now with dresses in the mix, it’s safe to say I’m fully leaning into it. I also just ordered this long sleeve, less structured denim dress from Zimmermann. I’m super into the braided details along the pocket and honestly, I have been loving a good V neckline.
