Spring is right around the corner, which means spring break is coming in hot! We haven’t locked in our family plans just yet, but one thing’s for sure—I’m craving warm weather, beaches, bikinis, and all the family time. And let’s not forget what comes after spring… summer 😉!

Also, can we talk about losing an hour to daylight savings? I am struggling today…if you too are feeling the time change, I’ve got a holy grail secret weapon that makes all the difference—trust me, this one’s a game-changer.

I’m also using this as some self-motivation because I’m currently packing for a trip to my favorite city 🍎 for a very exciting TV opportunity next week. Keep your eyes peeled on my IG to find out what that’s all about!

So, in the spirit of travel season kicking off, I thought it’d be fun to highlight some of my top travel essentials—the ones that have taken quite a bit of trial and error to perfect. Behold: my holy grail list. No basics, no obvious picks—just the real MVPs that make every trip easier, better, and way more enjoyable. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later.

Packing Lifesavers

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from traveling, it’s that being organized makes everything easier. A small, foldable (and expandable) laundry bag is a total game-changer—it keeps your clean and dirty clothes separate without taking up any space. Packing cubes? An absolute must for fitting everything in your suitcase while staying somewhat sane. This one is a great option if you want something durable and functional, and this one from Mark & Graham is both that AND personalizable (great if you’re packing for kids!). A jewelry case keeps your pieces from tangling (because nothing’s worse than a knot of necklaces), and a hanging garment bag is a lifesaver for keeping outfits wrinkle-free. What makes this one so great is that it folds into a handheld bag and even has compartments for packing accessories and smaller things you need.

And speaking of wrinkles—don’t forget a mini steamer or wrinkle-release spray so you’re not stuck with creased clothes your entire trip. Trust me, these little things make a big difference.

Matching Sets for Travel

A matching set = effortless style with zero thought required. Whether it’s a button-down and bottoms set (these ones also come in a long length so perfect for tall girls like me), a short sleeve version with pants (that will also double perfectly as a pool cover up), or a cozy (and cute) sweat set like this cashmere hoodie and matching bottoms set that can even be personalized making it SUCH a cute gift or the perfect matching travel outfit for a girls trip.

TRUST, this is the move for looking put together while still being comfortable. Plus, they’re ideal for travel—chic, comfy, and easy to throw on when you’re running out the door. The best part? You can mix and match the pieces throughout your trip, so you get even more outfits out of them. Here are some more great options that are awesome for travel days.
