I am TRULY in disbelief that yet another year has passed by and we’re in 2025 now. The Stuber family rang in the New Year together with a trip to Miami. It was one of those trips that reminded me how much I love creating new traditions and making the most of these fleeting moments together.
One minute we’re enjoying the warm, sunny weather at the beach, and the next, I’m sitting in the rain at one of Brooks’ lacrosse games wondering why I didn’t pack a trench. (Spoiler alert: I’ll never make that mistake again.) And let’s take a moment for my Janessa Leoné bag, which truly earned MVP status this week. Without further ado, here are all the outfits I wore in our (just under one week) trip to Miami.
Travel Day
Travel days call for comfort, but that doesn’t mean sacrificing style. I went with my Frank and Eileen travel set in black—soft, sleek, and put-together—and topped it with my new Soeur denim jacket (a wardrobe staple that also works as a top). To keep the sweatsuit look polished, I added my Janessa Leoné straw bag, Atlas sunnies, and my white Celine trainers . It’s the kind of outfit that says, “I’m ready for Miami,” while still being comfy enough to survive airport chaos.
Day 1
Can’t think of a better way to go to bed and wake up than in a super cute matching pajama set. This one is from Mason Grey in the Cambridge Toile print, which is currently sold out. But there are SO many other gorgeous ones to choose from. And how CUTE are these kids’ ones in case you want to match with your kiddos?!? I’m obsessed.
A day in Miami not by the pool or at the beach is a wasted day in my opinion 😉. This purple matching set is from Melissa Odabash. The top is a gathered bandeau top with gold hardware and the bottoms are just the right amount of coverage.
On the way to the beach I also threw on this matching button up shirt cover up. For shoes, I went with my Ancient Greek Sandal mesh slides and my Janessa Leoné straw bag, which in case you forgot— has straps on the outside to hold your hat instead of stuffing it inside which is a total game changer.
Day 2
Let the games begin… This marked day one of Brooks’ lacrosse games. It’s also the day I wish I packed some sort of a rain jacket because I kid you not, it was a torrential downpour. For a causal yet cute look at the field, I wore my Frank and Eileen button down top, my Moussy jeans (that are sold out but here’s a similar pair), and my Soeur denim jacket. I wore my Celine western belt, kept the Celine theme going with my sneakers, and of course, my Janessa Leoné bag. You’ll see this bag was a staple for me all week.
