With everything going on lately, this trip to Cabo couldn’t have come at a better time. Between work, life, and all the chaos in between, a little family R&R was much needed. Grey, my youngest, literally told me the entire week leading up to it, “It’s okay, Mom when we’re in Cabo, you can have a long rest,” and you know what, I did just that Grey. Despite the little gastritis hiccup…if you know, you know 🙃
Truly nothing beats time away with the whole crew, soaking up the sun and just being. And like I said last week, I’d be sharing all my outfit deets from or time away.
So without further ado, here’s everything I wore (and loved) in Cabo this week. 😉
Day 1 - Travel day
The whole day was just about getting there. We landed in Cabo in the afternoon, got settled, walked around a but, and that was pretty much it. Just travel, unpack, and mentally check out of reality 😉.
For the travel fit, I kept it classic and comfy with an all-white look: my Pistola raw-hem cropped jeans (first time pulling them out this season), paired with my go-to Jenni Kayne sweater. Truly the coziest travel combo. Threw on my Adidas Sambas in a new colorway, grabbed my Janessa Leone bucket bag, and finished it off with my Krewe sunnies. Easy, chic, and got me feeling extra ready for vacay.
After landing I did an immediate outfit change because the weather was unbelievably nice. These AGOLDE white denim shorts are some of my favorite denim shorts and of course this black Khaite tee is my go-to.
Day 2 - Poolside
We woke up bright and early to get the trip started and spent literally the entire day poolside, which is exactly what I needed.
For my first swim look, I kept it classic with this Zimmermann black bikini. A simple black suit is always a go-to and this top’s low cut brings in a little fun element to the look. For a cover up, I stayed on brand with my favorite Zimmermann print button down shirt. I accessorized with, of course, my Celine sunnies, Janessa Leone straw bag, and my Adina Reyter necklaces. The easiest way to make a minimal bikini feel a little more elevated.
P.S. I’m obsessed with my new LA Necklace from Adina.
For the first dinner of the trip I wanted something effortless but still chic so I went with this Retrofête crochet midi dress which you guys is SO good. I will be bringing this on every tropical vacay this Summer.
The crochet detailing, the fit, the whole vibe—it’s one of those dresses that works for everyone. It hugs you in all the right places and isn’t too tight where you start to feel uncomfortable. I loved the boho resort vibe it gave and it was SO flattering, highly recommend.
Since the dress is such a moment, I kept it simple with these chunky hoops from Jennifer Fisher and my thin chain necklace from Adina.
