What I’m Buying, Styling, & Swearing By This Spring
The fashion & beauty picks that have my full attention.
Spring is basically the pregame for summer. And we’re officially in that weird in-between phase—manifesting warm weather, soaking up those rare, almost-summer days, and then, just as quickly, freezing. But since we’re getting an extra hour of daylight, it’s only right we act (and dress) accordingly.
Plus, a new episode of Lipstick on the Rim dropped this Tuesday that’s literally ALL about Emese and I’s beauty, fashion, and wellness favorites…trust me—we did not hold back on the product recs. 😉
So here’s a little sneak peek at my spring mood board: effortless staples, crisp linens, and soft neutrals, balanced with pops of pastels because pastels will be everywhere this spring.
This season I’m channeling layered textures, breezy dresses, and thin knit outerwear for those in-between days. A bold red lip, but also perfecting a go-to nude lip combo, glowing skin (hello, double exfoliation), lots of denim, fun flats, and of course— chunky gold jewelry & sunnies on repeat.
Starting off strong with my Spring beauty picks
First things first, lets start with SKIN.
One of the most important things to do during the transition from Winter to Spring is EXFOLIATE. You gotta get rid of all that dry, dead skin.
Now, I can’t pick a favorite from YSE Beauty, but if I had to, my Favorite Ex Exfoliating Pads would definitely be up there. They’re chemical exfoliant pads that aren’t stripping and great for sensitve skin. If you’re new to them, start with 2-3 times a week, and work your way up to more. Now the thing a lot of people forget is even if you have a chemical exfoliant you still need a physical exfoliant which is exactly where your Favorite Ex Deep Down Exfoliating Gel comes in. This is my latest baby, and you guys it will change your life. Even after just one use, your skin will look polished, radiant, and just restore your glow.
This one was inspired by my modeling days when I’d wear so much makeup and always needed a product that could really deep clean my skin while keeping my barrier intact. The best way to use both is to switch off, so one day the pads, the next the gel. Your skin will feel clean, smooth, and brighter as all those dead cells are swept away. Makeup or no makeup, your skin will be glowing—and when you do wear makeup, it’ll look so much smoother and really stay put.
Of course, with warmer weather SPF is always key. Your skincare routine should change with the seasons, and as the sun starts coming out more, SPF needs to be a top priority. Which Let’s be real—it always should be. We all know my favorite face SPF my Skin Glow Primer, because it makes you glow while also keeping you protected. It’s also blurring so I have no problem leaving the house with literally just that on and no concealer.
For the body I absolutely love Soliel Toujours and Hampton Sun. Soleil Toujours spray and lotion are my absolute go-to and I use Hampton Sun on my kids EVERY year.

Leading me on to my next thing— makeup.
I absolutely LOVE a bold lip for Spring. I talked about this makeup look below in the latest podcast episode — but I’ve found my go-to combo. The Makeup by Mario red liner paired with Rare Beauty’s Lip Soufflé in Inspire. It’s lightweight, matte (but not drying), and just the perfect red that also lasts all night because there is nothing worse than a smudge red lip.
For an everyday look, though, a nude lip combo is essential. My absolute FAVORITE nude lip liner is my Jones Road’s The Nudist stick. It’s just the perfect barely there, nudey-pink color. Then I just throw on my Like a Gloss over it and you have the most gorg, hydrating lip look. Literally my go-to whether I’m running errands or on the red carpet.
We all know this by now, but IT Cosmetics CC Cream is my tried and true concealer, but I have branched out recently and tried Sarah Creal’s Face Flex Concealer and I’m OBSESSED. It’s super light weight and buildable which is a need for me during warmer months, and it covers any imperfections without feeling too cakey or thick.
Now I also LOVE a glowy, bronze look in Spring so I always start with a cream bronzer, like the Makeup By Mario shaping stick in shade light medium, or my tried and true Chanel Les Beiges bronzing cream.
Since Spring is also the time for rosy cheeks, I always lean into my blushes. I always love Tower 28 in shade Happy Hour, and more recently I tried Kosas Blush is Life in the shade Cool Baby Pink and it is the most gorgeous bright pink color. It definitely looks way brighter in the packaging than it does on, but it just gives you such a gorgeous flushed look that lasts all day. I love it. This is also a little secret from my VS days, but we used to use REALLY bright pink powder blushes because it actually gives you a way brighter, and more natural flushed look than your berry blushes.
For eyes I’ve actually been into this lash serum that’s literally made my lashes grow SO much. Ilia also just launched these Eye Shadow Sticks and you guys… they are unreal. First of all they’re so easy to use, you just swipe the stick onto your eye lid and you’re done. I got the shade Jubilee and it’s the most gorg warm gold shimmer. You can totally use it for more of a night time look, but if you want a day look you could totally try the shade Nectar for a matte peach beige color.
NOW Moving on to my fashion favorites for spring, ugh you guys. I just love shopping for warm weather.
First off let me just say one word: LINENS. I live for a good linen button-down (love the Frank & Eileen one or this one from Left on Friday— both come in a bunch of colors), and are great quality that will last you SO long. They also don’t instantly wrinkle which is a must. Love this linen button down dress too that gives the same vibe as a button down top—
You can also never go wrong with a matching set like this top and bottom from Jenni Kayne. And of course, linen dresses are so cute. I LOVE this shirt dress that doubles a bathing suit cover up from Quince, and this super chic pastel yellow linen shift dress from Posse is SO good for any sort of Spring or Summer soiree. Which by the way, butter yellow is the color of the season I’m telling you, we’ll be seeing it EVERYWHERE.
Now denim is a MUST for spring— whether it’s a great denim jacket, which we all know my favorite is the Khaite Grizzo Jacket (but I’ve also been loving this denim blazer from Soeur), a chic denim shirt like this one I love love love from Zara, and of course a great pair of jeans.
One of my most asked questions actually is what my favorite jeans are so let me just start from the beginning…
