On Instagram this week, I asked you guys to send me some locations, events, and trips you had planned, and in return, I’d style some outfits for them.
Let's just say I definitely underestimated the number of responses I’d get. There were too many to answer on IG, so I thought it’d be fun to pick a few at random and answer them here!
I tried to choose a variety of locations and events and cover a little bit of everything. From mother-of-the-bride looks to labor and delivery fits, there’s a little something for everyone.
Nantucket
When I hear Nantucket, I immediately think of nautical, sophisticated, quiet luxury vibes. To achieve that, you can really lean into elevated basics.
I just got this linen short suit from Me + Em (link to shorts + blazer), and it’s the perfect look for drinks or dinner with the girls in Nantucket or literally any beach town. It’s honestly the perfect summer look in general. You really can’t go wrong with a linen suit. It’s lightweight and practical while still looking put together and chic.
I paired it with my all-time favorite black tank from Toteme, my black Flamenco clutch from Loewe (which, by the way, can also be worn as a crossbody), and my pointed-toe Prada mules I’ve had forever. Unfortunately, they’re sold out, but I compiled all my favorite dupes and similar pairs HERE!
Mother of the Bride
I wore this dress to my birthday dinner this week, and I think it would make the perfect wedding guest attire. It’s just formal enough, and the thick, almost knit texture is super flattering and holds you in all the right places.
The abstract floral print also makes it perfect for a summer wedding without being too distracting in photos. This dress is from Lela Rose, and the shoes are Celine!
I honestly went on a deep dive after seeing this topic because I think it’s such a fun one. I made a collection of some more of my favorite dress options for summer weddings HERE!
